Lifetime member Jeff Hillam '13 has led TIAA's Career Recruitment eventin collaboration with Thunderbird's Career Management Center (CMC), collecting jobs and resumes. The event paired students with multiple internships and full-time positions with three different companies.
Last week, Jeff, TIAA Executive Director Lenora Peppers Greene, and several CMC employees sat down for a roundtable conversation with some 20 of these students. This was followed by a TIAA Meet and Greet with alumni at the Pub, where current and future alumnihad the opportunity to network.
We view current students as future alumni, and seek to begin integrating them into the alumni community long before they receive their diplomas. If you represent a company that's hiring, seasonal internships or full-time positions! We're able to leverage our existing network of current student members, as well as our relationship with the CMC, to help connect you with the next generation of talented T-birds. Let us know if we can be of assistance.
Additionally, the recording of this month's Professional Development Webinar with Julie Johnson '89 of Julie Johnson Consulting is now available here, as are all of our past webinar and conference recordings. Access to these recordings is a special benefit for our vested members.
