Congratulations to 80 New T-bird Alumni!
Following the traditional Flag Ceremony and presentation of honors, a fresh crop of T-birds walked across the stagein the Thunderbird Event Center on Monday afternoon, accepted their diplomas, and entered the global alumni network. 58 were full-time, on-campus master's students and the remaining 22 online EMGM students.

We are certain that they will all go on to do great, impactful things for our world, like the many who have come before them. To those of you who participated, we say: Congratulations, and Welcome!

Two TIAA Scholars Among this Semester's Grads

Included among those graduated on Monday were TIAA Scholars Ayshe Ulgen and Jake Strickler, whose name may be familiar to you as TIAA's new Operations Manager.

Ayshe graduated as a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society for Political Science, and Jake as a recipient of the CEO's Circle Award, which is given at the discretion of the faculty and administration to those students who have made a lasting contribution to the school.

Jake will be manning the TIAA office in Scottsdale full-time, and Ayshe is seeking opportunities either with IGOs such as the World Bank, OECD, or United Nations, or in the private sector; specifically in biotech or venture capital.

With Ayshe's and Jake's graduation, the total number of Scholars who have successfully completed their programs is up to eight, withseven more still in the midst of courses and a new group - to be announced - coming in the Fall. You can read more about the Scholars Program here.
