Meet our Summer Interns

We are very fortunate to have not just one, but two T-birds helping us out with a number of large projects over the summer. Get to know them below; we will have some very exciting announcements over the coming months as a result of the work they are doing.
 
Hailing fromZhengzhou, China,Maya Mengis a current student with a background in accounting, as well as consulting and performing due-diligence regarding mergers and acquisitions. Maya is also highly entrepreneurial by nature, having successfully started her own business with two partners at a young age.She cares deeply about humanity and had been involved in community service projects with the Rotary Club in Shanghai for many years. She has great interest in environmental protection, creative education, Taiji, science and art. She can be reached atmmeng@tiaaglobal.org.


Ayshe Ulgen, of Cyprus, recently graduated from the MGM program as a TIAA Scholar, as well as a fellow of Thunderbird's SHARE program. She is pictured here receiving her award of completion from TIAA Board Chairman Doug Deardorf '84 at our Spring Business Summit in Paris. This accomplishment was one of many already attained; Ayshe holds a Ph.D. and has over 15 years multi-disciplinary experience in research, grant writing, project management, consulting and academia. The range of her areas of expertise and research is rich in diversity, scale and scope and includes health and science policy, bioinformatics, genetic epidemiology, and biostatistics. As a recent graduate,
Ayshe is seeking opportunities either with IGOs such as the World Bank, OECD, or United Nations, or in the private sector; specifically in biotech or venture capital. She can be reached ataulgen@tiaaglobal.org.
First Panama Speaker Announced

We are ecstatic to be able to begin announcing our speakers for our Fall Business Summit in Panama City, Panama, to be held September 22 and 23 of this year.
